Do you believe they put a man on the moon

Anyone is entitled to believe whatever they wish to believe in life, truth.. facts.. heresy... opinions.. the press...you name it.... There is no crime in believing what one wishes to believe in. In the majority, everyone you pass on the street, unless an ultimate heathen would tell you he/she believed in God, (if you asked them) but that does not mean he/she is saved. Their belief is just merely a statement of fact, there is nothing heartfelt. They continue striving in life, faithless, blind, and ignorant. Believing that through their human power, they will achieve their goals and (that on Judgment Day, they will be able to get in to heaven by their own merit) . and they believe we put a man on the moon!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are we really the one who achieves those goals alone? Proverbs 16:9 ”In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.” The success, wealth, goals, are not achieved by man alone, but man fails to credit the One who stands in the shadows patiently, guiding them through the obstacles and helping them to overcome the ones they meet. Why we never hear a CEO or Attorney who has just finished a case or settled a deal say “Praise God”!!! The state of our society—ME!!! I dont even hear my friends who get a super grade report, raise or job... give any credit. They believe they and THEY alone are the reason for the good fortune. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A man and his wife were trapped on a sinking ship, the only survivors. The man asked his wife if she trusted him enough to get her to shore safely. She looked at the vast ocean, and the rolling waves and the many miles of travel. In terror, she shook her head that she would prefer to stay aboard the sinking ship than try for the shore fearing that her hubby's strength would give out, during the swim. Oh, how he must have felt to hear her say that.... so he told her “well dear, I guess than you will have to survive on your own, I need to get to shore, and it would do me no good to waste my strength carrying someone who had no trust in me”. He left the ship, climbed into his awaiting raft, and started rowing. This is the equivalent to saying you are a Christian--- married to Christ, but afraid to put a full whole hearted trust in Him. Reserved!!!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When our parents tell us they have faith in us, we feel warm and fuzzy and do our best to accomplish whatever it is they have faith in us for, school, job, etc;. This is exactly how our heavenly Father feels when He sees one of His own put their complete trust in Him... giving Him control of the rudder on their ship and accepting everything that comes their way as what He wishes for thier lives. It goes a little deeper than just mere belief. It takes unreserved trust, obedience, and faith unseen. Trust--- that even if the sky is hailing fire and brimstone, you are completely aware Who is control. Trust--- that even if everything in life is going south, your still walking North or vice versa! Trust----- that Jesus is someone who came to save you, and losing trust in yourself that you will save yourself. Trust----- that if its meant to be, it will happen against all odds, and if it wasnt meant to be, you are standing on higher ground!
